Quality Assurance Standards

Aerovation’s quality management system is ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100:2016 registered. We maintain all certificates of conformance, material burn ratings, licenses, and permits required by applicable legal and regulatory agencies determined by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other National Airworthiness Authorities (NAA). A major Aerovation specialty is the implementation of unique processes and procedures to test new power plants.

Testing guidelines are geared to satisfy both the FAA and internal requirements in order to achieve certification.

Airworthiness

FAA (FAR parts 23, 25, and 36) and MIL-HDBK-516 certification guidelines are implemented by conducting turnkey flight test programs following the aircraft modification phase.

The testing supports the award of supplemental type certificates from the FAA and U.S. Military certification.

Aerovation is a FAA certified Part 145 Repair Station, certification number H3ER052N.

Aerovation has consistently exercised the necessary flexibility to accommodate ever changing requirements. The Aerovation team is proud to provide rapid response to satisfy customer’s needs.

Aerospace Propulsion System Testing

Aerovation developed and currently operates two fully instrumented portable engine test stands, and operates test stands up to 30,000 pounds of thrust.

Our engine test area is a dedicated 100,000 square foot concrete facility approved for around-the-clock operations.

Aerovation designed, fabricated, installed, and fully operates the Data Acquisition System (DAS) to provide engineering data for developmental engines and thrust reversers, aircraft systems, and aircraft-inlet compatibility.
